 If you are thinking about settling the functioning of the bank then get alerted.  This is because next month, banks can remain closed in the country for six consecutive days.  Bank unions have announced a three-day strike since March 11.  That is, on March 11, March 12 and March 13, 2020, banks may remain closed due to the strike.  Banks will be closed on 10 March on the occasion of Holi festival.  On 14 March, it is the second Saturday of the month and on 15 March on Sunday, so even on that day you will not be able to do any work of the bank.


 A nationwide strike by bank employees may affect various services such as cash deposits and withdrawals, check clearance and loan disbursements in public sector banks.  Organizations of bank employees will be on strike demanding salary hike.

 Earlier, there was a strike in banks on 31 January 2020 and 1 February 2020 on the day the Budget was presented.  Explain that the bank union has also announced to go on indefinite strike from April 1.  However, private sector banks such as ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank will remain open.

 Ashwani Rana, general secretary of Delhi Pradesh Bank Employees Organization, had said that the Indian Banks Association has proposed a 12.5 per cent increase in salaries, which is not acceptable.  This may affect banking services.  According to the Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) and the All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), bank employees will go on strike for three days from March 11 to 13 after negotiations with the Indian Banks Association (IBA) failed on pay revision
